Visitor statistics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser, and the site that sent you. We look at these statistics only as totals. Google’s use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Calculators

The calculators run in your browser. The measurements you enter aren’t sent to us or stored.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms (see the Web3Forms privacy policy). We use what you send only to reply to you.

Hosting and security

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Terms of use

The information on PlantByZone is general and provided as is. Planting dates are averages: frost comes early or late in any year, and conditions vary within a zone, so check your local weather and your county extension office before you plant.
